Diplomada em Letras Neolatinas e em Artes Plásticas, com especialização
em História da Pintura no Brasil, Lucy Dall'0rto tem participado de
exposições individuais e coletivas nacionais e internacionais, inclusive
em Londres, Inglaterra. Desde 1989, teve seu interesse despertado para a
Semiótica da Arte, por influencia da gravurista Fayga Ostrower e de
Lúcia Santaelia.
Membro da NAPA, National Acrylic Painters Association, da Inglaterra (Londres),
realizou várias viagens culturais aos EUA, Canadá e Europa,
particularmente à Itália, à Alemanha e à França.
Deu inicio às pesquisas de matérias e materiais pictóricos desde o
inicio do Curso de Artes Plásticas, em 1982, na UFES. No entanto, seu
trabalho, atualmente, vem se definindo por uma plasticidade mais
delineada, preocupando-se não tão somente com as pesquisas mas, também
com as cores, que são primordiais na sua obra.
Na execução de sua produção atual, apoia-se na psicologia junguiana da
descrição dessas imagens primordiais, os arquétipos, tais como se
manifestam nos mitos e nos sonhos, transfigurados na geometria da
artista, cujas texturas dão um resultado abstrato ao seu trabalho. Ao
manipular adequadamente as imagens arquetipicas, porém, a cor está
sempre presente, aliada às técnicas usadas, formando uma unidade com a
textura-forma, servindo de referência, como que beneficiando-se da
energia que essas imagens polarizam para obter o resultado desejado.
Desta arte, nesta exposição, conforme podemos observar, predominam,
amarelo, laranja,vermelho, prata e violeta, sem esquecimento do azul,
presente na monocromia. Todas estas cores aliadas às formas, resultam em
belas imagens primitivas do inconsciente.

Graduate in Neo-Latin Letters and in Plastic arts, with specialization
in History of the Painting in Brazil, Lucy Dall'0rto has been
participating in national and international individual and collective
exhibitions, besides in London, England. Since 1989, she had her
interest wakened up for the Semiotics of the Art, for it influences of
the gravurist Fayga Ostrower and of Lúcia Santaella.
Member of the NAPA , National Acrylic Painters Association, of England
(London), she accomplished several cultural trips to the USA, Canada and
Europe, particularly to Italy, to Germany and France. She gave begin to
the researches of matters and pictorial materials from I begin her of
the Course of Plastic arts, in 1982, in UFES. However, her work, now,
comes if defining for a plasticity more delineated, worrying no so only
with the researches but, also with the colors, that they are primordial
in her work.
In the execution of her current production, she leans on in the
psychology junguian of the description of those primordial images, the
archetypes, such as they show in the myths and in the dreams,
transfigured in the artist's geometry, whose textures give an abstract
result to her work. When manipulating the archetypal images
appropriately, however, the color is always present, allied to the used
techniques, forming an unit with the texture-form, serving as reference,
as that benefitting of the energy that those images polarize to obtain
the wanted result. Like this, in this exhibition, as we can observe,
they prevail, I yellow, orange, red, silver and violet, without
forgetfulness of the blue, present in the monocromia. All these allied
colors to the forms, result in beautiful primitive images of the
unconscious.
