Tomás Castaño was born in Santander (Spain) in 1953. since very young he demonstrates a special predisposition towards the drawing, but up to the age of 17 years he does not take the first paintbrushes. Of self-taught formation, he has been forged himself, based on tenacity and enthusiasm, being decanted by a style of realistic painting, which he approaches forming constructed, drawn well compositions, worrying about the composition and the drawing, he controls the perspective and also the powers that have led him to reaching landscape painter's status characterized by his architectural work. He has showed hes work in collective exhibitions for several countries as Germany, Holland, France, Argentina, Japan, Italy and numerous individual and collective exhibitions in Spanish territory. He has represented to Cantabria in the Biennial one of Florence in the edition 2005. His work is admitted by the peculiar style and the environment that he creates in ended of his series of old taverns.
Tomás Castano est né dans Santander (l'Espagne) en 1953. De très jeune il démontre une prédisposition spéciale vers le dessin, mais jusqu'à l'âge de 17 ans il ne prend pas les premiers pinceaux. De formation autodidacte, il a été forgé à si même, basé sur la ténacité et l'enthousiasme, étant décanté par un style de peinture réaliste, ce qui des approches formant construit, dessiné bien des compositions, s'inquiétant de la composition et le dessin, il contrôle le perpectiva et aussi les pouvoirs qui l'ont mené au fait d'atteindre d'un statut d'un peintre de paysage caractérisé par son le travail architectural. Il a lui a montré son le travail aux expositions collectives pour plusieurs pays comme l'Allemagne, la Hollande, la France, l'Argentine, le Japon, l'Italie et des nombreuses expositions individuelles et collectives au territoire espagnol. il a représenté Cantabria dans le Bisannuel de la Florence dans l'édition 2005.
Tomás Castaño nace en Santander (España) en 1953. Desde muy joven demuestra una especial predisposición hacia el dibujo, pero hasta la edad de 17 años no toma los primeros pinceles. De formación autodidacta, se ha forjado a si mismo, a base de tesón y entusiasmo, decantándose por un estilo de pintura realista, que aborda plasmando composiciones construidas, bien dibujadas, preocupándose de la composición y el dibujo, controla la perspectiva y también las facultades que lo han llevado a alcanzar un estatus de paisajista caracterizado por su trabajo arquitectónico. Su obra se caracteriza por un realismo sereno y poético, que traduce el deleite del artista en la plasmación de calles, edificios y fachadas con solera. Sus cuadros atrapan la magia de la estética de lo antiguo, y transmiten toda la calidez y humanización de los ambientes no transformados por la vida actual.
Su obra figura en las colecciones de la Fundación Carriegos (León), Hotel Central de Santander, Ayuntamiento de Castro Urdiales, Ayunt. de Villanueva de Villaescusa, Sede Social de CC.OO. de Santander y otras colecciones privadas. Obra en permanencia en Galeria Sharon-León, Galería Altea-Madrid, Galeria Arte Infantas-Madrid y Galería Este-Santander. |
