Introdução

A Alborques é uma galeria de arte Online onde qualquer artista poderá expor as suas obras gratuitamente.

Para pertencer ao grupo de artistas da Alborques basta que efectue o registo na Galeria e submeta a sua biografia e obras para exposição preenchendo os diversos formulários disponibilizados.

Registo na Alborques

Introduction

 The Alborques is an online art gallery where the artists can exhibit their works for free.

To belong to the Alborques artists group you just have to do the registration in the gallery and submit the biography and works to expose filling the various forms available. 

Register in Alborques

To register in Alborques just fill out the form on http://www.alborques.com/pages/Login2.php address or select the "Free Register" option on the homepage of the site, as indicated in picture 1.

Os campos a preencher no registo são o Username, a Password, o Nome do Artista e o endereço de E-mail. Depois de preenchido o formulário deverá pressionar o botão “Registar/Register”, conforme imagem 2.

The fields to fill in the registration are the Username, the Password, the Artist Name and E-mail address. After completed the filling of the form, you must press the button "Registar/Register", as indicated in picture 2.

Efectuado este procedimento aparecerá no ecrã a indicação de que o registo foi efectuado (Imagem 3), devendo o artista memorizar o “Username” e a “Password” para utilização futura.

Em  caso de perda desta informação (username e password), poderá enviar um e-mail para alborques@gmail.com a solicitá-la.

Performed this procedure it will appear on the screen the indication that the registration was made (Picture 3). The artist must memorize the "Username" and "Password" for future use.

In case of loss of this information (username and password), you can send an email to alborques@gmail.com to request it.

Login na área do Artista

Login in the Artist Area

You can access the artist personal area by making the login using the address http://www.alborques.com/pages/login.php or choosing the options "Artist Area" or "Login" available in the site, as shown in pictures 4 and 5.

Para efectuar o Login terá de preencher os campos “Username” e “Password” e pressionar o botão “Login”, conforme imagem 6.

To make the login you have to fill in the fields "Username" and "Password" and press the button "Login", as shown in picture 6.

Efectuado o Registo e o Login poderá iniciar o envio da informação que será utilizada na construção da sua página pessoal na Alborques, escolhendo as diversas opções disponíveis, conforme imagem 7.

After making the Register and Login you can begin sending the information to be used in the construction of your personal page in Alborques, choosing the different options available, as shown in picture 7.

Biografia do Artista 

O primeiro passo para a construção da página pessoal do artista é o envio dos dados biográficos, seleccionado a opção “Inserir Biografia / Insert Biography”. Seleccionando essa opção surge um formulário onde o artista deverá colocar os seus dados biográficos, nomeadamente o e-mail, a biografia, nacionalidade, exposições onde participou, etc (ver imagem 8).

Biography of the Artist

The first step in building the artist personal page is to send the biographical data by selecting the option "Inserir Biografia / Insert Biography." By selecting this option it will appear a form where the artist must put its biographical data, including e-mail, a biography, nationality, exhibitions, etc. (see picture 8).

Os campos “E-mail” e “Foto do Artista / Artist Photo” são de preenchimento obrigatório. No entanto, quanto mais informação for submetida e mais campos forem preenchidos, mais interessante e maior visibilidade terá a página pessoal do artista.

Cada artista poderá submeter várias biografias em idiomas diferentes, aumentando, desta forma o potencial de visitantes. 

Depois de preenchido o formulário deverá ser carregado o botão “Enviar / Submit”, conforme imagem 9.

Filling of the fields "E-mail" and "Foto do Artista / Artist Photo" is required. However, the most information is submitted and more fields are completed, more interest and more visibility will have the homepage of the artist.

Each artist may submit several biographies in different languages, increasing the potential for visitors.

After completing the filling of the form select the "Enviar / Submit” button, as shown in picture 9.

Depois de submetida a informação biográfica, surge no ecrã, na área reservada do artista, toda a informação enviada para que o artista verifique se tudo está de acordo com o pretendido, conforme imagem 10. Especial atenção para as imagens que deverão estar devidamente visiveis para o visitante. 

Caso a imagem não seja correctamente visivel deverão submeter a informação novamente até que a possam visualizar correctamente ecrã. Refira-se que a Alborques apenas aceita imagens com extensão .JPG. 

Se o problema subsistir (a imagem não é visivel no ecrã ou surge como um quadrado preto), deverão tratar previamente a imagem, conforme será explicado abaixo.

After submitting the biographical information, it appears on screen, in the artist restricted area, all the submitted information so the artist can verify if everything is according to the desired, as shown in picture 10. Special attention to the images that should be properly visible to the visitor.

If the image is not properly visible you must submit the information again until it´s correctly displayed. Alborques only accept images with extension .JPG.

If the problem persists (the picture is not visible on the screen or appear as a black square), you should edit the image, as will be explained below.

Caso pretenda, o artista poderá alterar ou apagar a informação submetida anteriormente através da opção “Update/Delete”, conforme imagem 11.

If desired, the artist can change or delete the information previously submitted through the "Update / Delete" option, as shown in picture 11.

Escolhendo a opção “Update/Delete” surge um formulário, preenchido com a informação anteriormente submetida, para que o artista possa efectuar as alterações pretendidas, conforme imagem 12.

Efectuadas as alterações pretendidas, deverá pressionar-se o botão “Enviar / Submit” para actualização, conforme imagem 13.

After making the desired changes, press the "Enviar / Submit" button to update, as shown in picture 13.

Caso não se pretenda alterar a informação, mas sim apagar toda a informação, deverá escolher-se a opção “Apagar / Delete” e pressionar o botão “Enviar / Submit”, conforme imagem 14.

If you want to delete all the information, choose the "Apagar / Delete" option and press the "Enviar / Submit" button, as shown in picture 14.

Imagens para Exposição

 Os procedimentos descritos no envio dos dados biográficos dos artistas poderá ser usado ao se submeterem imagens para exposição, devendo ter-se sempre presente que quanto mais informação for enviada das obras, maior será a visibilidade que terá.

Images for Exhibition

The procedures described in the submission of the artist biographical data can be used to submit the works for exhibition.  Remember that the more information you send about your works, greater will be its visibility.

Tratamento das Imagens para envio

Conforme referido anteriormente, a Alborques apenas aceita imagens com extensão JPG pelo que, caso a imagem que pretende submeter não tenha este formato, deverá previamente efectuar a conversão.

Por outro lado, existem algumas imagens que, pela sua dimensão ou resolução, não são devidamente submetidas (não são visiveis na área reservada do artista) pelo que terão de, previamente, ser convertidas para uma dimensão aceite pelo site.

Para converter as imagens deverão seguir os seguintes os passos descritos de seguida:

 - No explorador do Windows, escolher a imagem que se pretende submeter, conforme imagem 16.

Editing pictures for submission

As mentioned above, the Alborques only supports pictures with the .JPG extension. So, if the image you want to submit does not meet this requirement, you must previously make its conversion.

Moreover, there are some images that, by their size or resolution, are not properly submitted (not visible in the artist reserved area). In this case, you must previously convert them into a size or resolution supported by the site.

To convert the images you should follow the following steps described below:

 - In Windows Explorer, choose the image to be submitted, as shown in picture 16.

- Seleccionada a imagem, pressionar o botão direito do rato e escolher as opções “Abrir com” e “Microsoft Office Picture Manager”, conforme imagem 17.

- Select the image, press the right mouse button and choose the "Open with" and "Microsoft Office Picture Manager" options, as shown in picture 17.

- Aberta a imagem, escolher a opção “File” e depois “Export”, conforme imagem 18.

- After opening the image, choose the "File" then "Export…" options, as shown in picture 18.

- Nas opções de “Export with this file name”, colocar o novo nome da imagem que vai ser convertida. A opção “Original file names” não deve estar seleccionada, conforme imagem 19.  

Nota importante: De forma a não se perder a imagem original, deverá sempre gravar-se a imagem convertida com um nome diferente do original.

- In the "Export with this file name" options, insert a new name for the image that will be converted. The "Original file names" option should not be selected, as shown in picture 19.

Important Note: In order not to lose the original image, you should always save the converted image with a different name than the original image.

- Escolher a opção “JPEG File Interchange Format (*.jpg)” no item “Export with this file format”, conforme imagem 20.

- Choose the "JPEG File Interchange Format (*. jpg)" option in the "Export with this file format” item, as shown in picture 20.

- Escolher a opção “Web – Large (640 x 480 px)” no item “Export using this size” e pressionar no botão OK, conforme imagem 21.

- Choose the "Web - Large (640 x 480 px)" option in the "Export using this size" item and press the OK button, as shown in picture 21.

- Depois de convertida a imagem, poderá novamente submete-la na Alborques, conforme explicado anteriormente.

- After the conversion of the image, you can submit it again in the Alborques, as previously explained.
